Colourgen`s Colour Management service is targeted at customers
that are demanding more accurate and consistent colour on a wide range of
printing media and substrates for a variety of applications. We have invested
heavily in the 
tools,
skills and resources to be able to offer customised ICC Profiling as either
a one-off solution or a complete Colour Health Check comprising of twice-yearly
on-site visits to ensure accurate colour output is maintained.
In today`s market place corporate companies want to be able to print on to a multitude of materials and substrates ranging from canvas to PVC and just about everything in between. Marketeers and advertisers demand that corporate logos be consistent with the emphasis on achieving exact colours. Colourgen`s Colour Management service helps make this achievable with two dedicated services:
Customised ICC Profiling provides customers with a dedicated ICC profile
for their own particular requirements. This service is performed on-site
by one of Colourgen`s colour specialists and will ensure a greater level
of accuracy than most standard `out-of-the-box` profiles.
The Colour Health Check is a service that is provided twice a year and consists of an on-site visit from a Colourgen Colour Specialist who will re-calibrate and re-build profiles if required to ensure consistent and accurate colour.
Colourgen`s Colour Management service is available for all users of solutions sold via Colourgen, ie the EPSON Stylus Pro large format printers, ENCAD NovaJet range, Seiko IP-4500 and ColorPainter 64S.

(ICC colour patches along with a Colourgen Test Page will be provided
to the end user in advance and will need to be output before the Colour
Specialists visit. If a press profile is required then press sheets from
the beginning, middle and the end of the run will be needed so an average
press profile of the print run can be achieved).

This service is provided on a 6-monthly basis and consists of 2 on-site visits by one of Colourgen’s Colour Specialists who will provide a new printer/paper ICC profile as well as a new simulation profile.
Every effort will be made to achieve the highest possible colour match, however the accuracy of the colour match will always be subjective. Colourgen’s bespoke built ICC profiles will always give a higher level of accuracy than generic default profiles, (typically lower than a Delta E94 of 4).
It is always advisable to use the manufacturers genuine inks and a recommended media that is compatible with the printer and ink combination. The ICC profiles that Colourgen build are only valid for the particular set of conditions that are used on the day the profiles are built. If any of the conditions change thereafter, the profiles may not be as accurate and new profiles may need to be generated – these additional profiles will carry an additional cost.
