The Fiery XF Spot Color Option enables you to profit from advanced spot colour management. It maximizes and fully utilizes a printer’s colour space to ensure accurate and consistent spot colours every time.
With EFI’s patent-pending Dynamic Wedge™, the dynamically-created control strip shows a job’s key and spot colours, so you can verify, and if required, optimise a job’s colour accuracy. It is perfectly suited for colour-critical print jobs and can be used with static wedges (e.g., Ugra/Fogra media wedge).

Fiery XF also supports the latest technologies for streamlining and enhancing workflow communication, including Adobe® PDF Print Engine V2.0 to ensure direct rendering of PDF files without any conversion to PostScript®. This seamless integration ensures correct interpretation of any effect or element that is applied to the PDF at a design level, saving precious time and greatly reducing scrap and production errors. The integrated PostScript Interpreter from Adobe (CPSI), also can process images based on Adobe PostScript 3 (PS3) quickly to ensure correct interpretation of transparencies and overprints.
