Kala Arkane 1650
The Arkane 1650 (65") offers single-sided lamination, simultaneous lamination and adhesive mounting, encapsulation and board mounting up to 50mm (2") thick.
The Arkane is a high-volume machine with heated top roller up to 140°C. The Arkane differs from the Mistral range only in that the temperature of the top roller goes up to 140°C, so users would choose this model:
- To use less expensive thermal film on one side for short term protection
- To use special types of thermal laminating materials for signage
- To use cold mounting films and thermal polyester films for budget applications

The heated upper roller warms the lamination film to 140°C to improve the polymerisation of the film onto the print or board.
The 50mm (2") opening guage of the rollers offers users a wide variety of applications. The pressure adjustment system ensures a uniform spread of pressure across the substrate. The top and bottom rollers are crowned for ease of use and superior quality lamination.
