Eco Ultra inks are solvent based, however, they do not spread harmful VOC's (volatile organic compounds) in the working environment and are a true environmentally friendly light solvent ink.

They also have a wide media compatibility, allowing direct printing on to (eco-solvent) coated media as well as onto a wide range of standard available uncoated PVC banner media.  Thanks to a fast drying time, cheap media with a standard paper backing can be used.

Tests with Mutoh's Eco Ultra inks have indicated an outdoor durability of up to 3 years without lamination.  For fleet, floor graphics and other applications where prints are exposed to intensive mechanical stress or abrasion, lamination is required.
