The Kona cutter-plotters incorporate three new features for better handling and faster productivity:
Dual Roll Support System: As well as the standard media support rollers for easy vinyl handling and perfect tracking, there is also the option for a roll-off system which allows contactless loading of pre-printed rolls. This avoids potential damage (scratching and marks) to freshly printed media.
Full Colour 3.5" LCD: The Kona's multi-language touch screen allows clear an easy access to all of Kona's functions.
Sheet-Off System: The newly designed automatic sheet-off mechanism incorporates a rotatable long-life blade with 4 cutting sides.
In addition, Kona also incorporates a laser-based optical sensor for automatic job registration and alignment for contour/cut-through data.
