The ColorPainter H-74-S and H-104s achieve class-fastest printing speeds of up to 50 smph in 8 colour mode and 100 smph in 4 colour mode while maintaining high image quality and colour density, meeting the requirements for professional quality outdoor graphics and high volume users.

 

Speed

The fastest printer in its class - The newly developed print head enables an outstanding print speed of up to 100 smph in draft mode (4-colour mode). The new ColorPainter H-Series is ideally suited for short-turnaround, large format banners and high volume production printing.

High speed multi-drop print head - The new high speed high-frequency multi-drop print heads control the amount of ink needed for each print mode. You can print large format signs at true 720 dpi, without decreasing print density or print speed.

Operation

Mesh printing kit - An optional mesh print ink tray enables printing of mesh banner without a liner (H-104S only).

Pressure Control Knob - Pressure control knobs are located at the front and the rear of the printer for easy handling of large media rolls.

Feeding / Take-up unit - The ColorPainter H-Series assure stable feeding and take-up of media with roll weights up to 120 kg. The configurable feed and take up (loose/inner, loose/outer, tension/inner, tension/outer;) provides maximum media type flexibility.

Image Quality

Banding Reduction Function: Smart Pass Technology - SIIT’s unique “Smart Pass Technology” optimizes pass-to-pass dot placement and alignment to provide maximum image quality, accurate spot colours and smooth graduations.

New added colours - Grey and Light Grey Ink - With Grey and light grey inks, the ColorPainter H-Series is capable of expressing real gradation, light shadows and metallic texture.

Automatic Head Height Adjustment - The ColorPainter H-Series detects the thickness of the loaded media and adjusts the print head height automatically to secure the best image quality.

Reliability

Large Capacity Ink Bag - The ColorPainter H-Series utilises efficient 1.5-litre ink bags, which not only reduce the necessity for frequent ink replacement, but also eliminates environmental waste. In addition, there is a subcartridge system which allows the user to replace ink on the fly without interrupting print jobs. By changing subcartridges, you can switch between 4-colour mode for productivity-oriented jobs and 8-colour mode for image quality-oriented jobs. This reduces the amount of waste ink to a minimum at the time of switching the modes.
