Peter Davidson becomes Colourgen National Sales Manager

Colourgen, the UK`s leading distributor of large format digital printing solutions, has announced the promotion of Peter Davidson to the position of National Sales Manager. The new position has been created as a result of Colourgen`s new business strategy that includes an enhanced product portfolio and a clearly defined and managed sales and marketing structure.

Paul French, Colourgen`s Sales Director, comments, "Since its formation Colourgen has enjoyed rapid and continuous growth, thanks largely to a commitment to providing high quality products and services to customers. To meet the demands of this growth and to ensure we can operate effectively as a much larger company, Colourgen has developed a comprehensive business strategy that includes a major restructuring of the sales and marketing operation. The promotion of Peter to head up the national sales team is a critical element of this restructuring."

Peter joined Colourgen in 1999 as Business Development Manager and has been instrumental in the development of new markets for large format printing, such as the retail and textile industries. He joined Colourgen from ENCAD where he was UK and Scandinavian Sales Manager where he played a major role in establishing ENCAD as European market leader.
